Utah Jazzzzzzzz.

The last couple days I have been in a lot better mood, thankfully. I think I was just having a hard day on Wednesday. Yesterday I worked and I was happy it wasn't too busy, I always stress it's going to be really hectic. Then we went to my mom's house and Cj got bossed around by my little sister Sunny to make her top ramen and I took a nap. My mom and I watched a Sundance film, it was really good. It's called "My Flesh and Blood".

Of course there was a jazz game last night, there's a jazz game like every night I feel like sometimes. It was nice though it was just Cj and I hanging out watching the game, even though I don't watch it.

He get's very into the games. He is a total jazz fan, but I love him.

Olive was being so weird last night, she kept wanting to play and be annoying during the jazz game. But look how stinking cute she is! She is my baby.

I've been really missing my cousins lately. My whole family lives in California, I think I need a vacation there soon. It's been nice, I skyped with my cousin Jena the other night, it's kind of like we're really hanging out, but not really? It's fun, I miss her.

I have also been missing my sweet niece! This last week at work I've had two babies come in that have looked just like her, and weigh as much as her! haha

Off Day.

Today I am having an off day. I don't know what's wrong. I woke up in an ok mood, took a bath got ready went to my mom's. After I was at my mom's I just got in this really bad mood and really irritated by everyone and everything.

I drove my mom around to help her do her errands, bad idea if your not in a good mood. I just feel like all day i've been rushed, driving around and everything has made me so irritable. I'm trying really hard to stop getting in to these kinds of moods, but sometimes it's just really hard.


Being married is not easy. I thought once I got married that everything would be perfect and that I would be a much happier person. Let me just tell you it's rough. You have to deal with growing up, and growing up freaking sucks! I feel like I have hardly seen Cj since he started full time. Seriously, I see him before I go to bed, and it's a good night and that's it. I know working full time can be exhausting, so when he gets home he's just tired, then I get home from work and i'm tired and we don't really ever do anything, I guess that's part of being married? I'm happy i'm with Cj, i'm just having a hard day and needed to vent. Life can be hard, I know, I just need to keep my chin up.

Anyways..

Last night my mom left this little guy on my door step.

I named him Todd.

Today was such a pretty day, it felt like springtime, finally!

Recap

Let's see I don't blog much, b/c really my life is not that exciting. It's been nice lately Cj and I have been spending some more along time together. On Wednesday there was a jazz game and Olive loves when Cj's friends come over, b/c she get's a lot more attention. She goes to her toy box and has to bring every single toy out that she has so people will play with her. Anyways, it was funny b/c she kept loving on Cj's friend Aldric, she kept sitting on his lap, kissing on him and it was making Cj so jealous.

Thursday Cj and I worked all day. Now that Cj works full time I have to go home on my lunch break and let Olive out, so she doesn't do the dirty deed in my house. So for Valentines day Cj made us a pizza and I had just bought crust that had 2 crusts in there, we only needed one. So the crust was on top of the microwave and when I got home at my lunch to let her out, she freaking tried to jump up to the microwave and get it down! She can jump super high supposedly. 

She didn't get it off but she sure did try. Stinker.


But look how cute she is, it's hard to be mad, or stay mad at her.

Yesterday I was so excited b/c I was able to get my hair colored and trimmed. I love getting my hair colored it always just makes me feel better. I am a blonde but Cj always wants me to go dark, he likes dark hair, why did he marry me? So I decided to get a lot of peek-a-boo dark put in my hair. My hair on top is still blonde, but underneath it's dark, at least really dark for me. It's something different, and it's growing on me. I like it.

Got to see baby Cora today, I kept putting glasses on her b/c she looked so cute with them on :)

She's such a sweet girl.

V-day

Happy V-day everyone! I had a great valentines day! I had to work, but when I got off of work Cj had made some yummy red bell pepper, artichoke heart, cheese, sun dried tomato pesto pizza. It was so good! He also got me some roses. Today is one year since he asked me to marry him.

I can't believe it's already been a year. I am so happy I married my best friend. Cj is the most patient person I know, especially when it comes to me :)

This last Tuesday we went and ate at The Pie in Salt Lake City. So yummy! We had a surprise party for our friend Justus, he had no idea we would be there. It was a lot of fun. Congrats Justus for finishing school in Arizona, and good luck in New York City!

Last night Cj went to a Jazz game with his buddies and I went to a "slumber party" It was a lot of fun! They had some neat stuff ;) But when I got home, Olive had decided to go dumpster diving in our garbage! She has such a greasy face in this picture!

It looks like i'm chocking her in this picture, but i'm not, she just wouldn't stay still for me to take a picture of her greasy face.

Today after work Cj and I hung out at my mom's. My dad has 2 chickens, Rouge and Bruce. They are ALWAYS standing right up against the glass of the slider and I always feel bad for them. So I let them in the house just for a couple minutes.

That's Rouge, she's Sunny's Chicken and she's very friendly.

It was so funny yesterday, Olive loves sitting on the couch where the window is so she can people watch and sit in the sun. She's such a sun girl! But she was sitting on the couch in the sun and she was falling asleep sitting up, I was cracking up.

Look how freaking adorable she was when she was a puppy! I miss her being a puppy!

Monday, Monday.

For some reason the last couple days have been hard for me. I have been very moody, and irritated. Sometimes I get like this and I take it out of the ones I love the most. I don't know what's wrong with me. I need to have a better attitude towards everything. But it's harder to just say that.


When I took Cj to work this morning, Olive pooped on the rug in the living room, diarrhea. Then she did it 4 more times, once right in front of me! Then of course when I took her outside to go to the bathroom she didn't.

Partly b/c Mr. Miyagi was outside following Olive around.
Work was hectic, just like any Monday, right? I'm just having one of those days, but I need to snap out of it! Instead of thinking of things negatively I need to look at the positive side. Does anyone have any suggestions?


I just wish I was a kid again :(

This is my cousin and I Jena (She's 10 days older than me) Can you tell which one is me? Of course, the one with hardly any hair. Life was so simple then. I totally wish I still had those Ariel pajama's!

6 month anniversary

T.G.I.T. (Thank Goodness It's Today)

Another week... This week has been good, but long. I feel like I have hardly seen Cj since he started his full time job at Nuskin. Whenever I come home from work, he's ready to go to bed b/c he's so exhausted. Today is Jamie's birthday and we're going to Bombay house for dinner, so excited!


I have to have at least 2 pictures of Olive this week. Sometimes she can be a little special and sleep with her tongue out. 

 Then she can just be cute.

This week at work we've seen a lot of croup, and ever RSV (Respiratory syncytial virus). Yesterday I had this Kindergarten check to do on this little boy. Usually the 4-5 year olds are hilarious. I love seeing little 2 month old babies and then dealing with the kindergarten children. Anyways, yesterday I had this little 4 year old boy, and usually on Kindergarten exams you have to do hemoglobin, urinalysis, blood pressure, and a vision screening. So I told him "Ok now the next test is, we need to check your eyes." and he says "So your going to take my eyeballs out of my sockets and clean them?" I started to laugh and I said no you just cover your eye with this...

And he says "So I have to cover my eye with this teaspoon?" I guess it does look like a teaspoon, he was cracking me up. This is the snellen vision screening test that we have them tell us what they see.

He loved peeing in a cup, he thought it was fun. Oh kids. He was pretty upset with me after I gave him his shots, he was like "That was a big pokes!" All I can say is i'm sorry. I love my job and I love what I do. 


Last night I was the kids. I got a cute video of Cora, she's SUCH a cutie pie. I like how she acts like a monster baby.

Today I went to Zupas to catch up with an old friend. And I got the cutest dessert ever! Look how cute it was.

Look at the cute little chocolate stripped straw! It was so yummy, but super rich so I was only able to have a couple bites and the fruit on top.
